M-72 Teams

M-72 teams are deployed in the most affected hospitals (switched to emergency mode) to relieve hospitals and provide primary nursing care for a larger number of patients. Patients are being placed in standard wards or specially designated areas.

The teams are activated by the Regional Intensive Care Coordinator (RICC) or directly by the hospitals and, as a compact team, perform the assigned nursing tasks in the form of a "turnkey" (handover of a section or set of tasks) in the following three-day and three-night shifts.

The teams work independently, under one command and take turns on the principle of rotations after 72 hours of deployment to ensure the continuity of care (provided by the CRC dispatching centre).
