Race Day Instructions, Rules, and Reminders

• This is an open course! We ask all participants to remain alert and cautious throughout the race. Volunteers will be stationed at every intersection along the route to direct traffic. There will be uneven pavement and terrain so please proceed with caution.

• Medical professionals on-site in case of emergency.

• Restrooms available in the Courthouse.

• Two water stations will be placed along the race route. Please ensure any trash is properly disposed of. 

• Dogs are not permitted on the route (with exceptions to service animals), in which case we ask that you provide the necessary documentation. Please contact the Race Directors prior to the race if you have any questions.

• Per city policy, all dogs on the courthouse square are to remain leashed at all times. 

• Strollers are permitted on the race route, however, please keep in mind uneven pavement and changes in terrain throughout the route. 

• Please be alert to any instruction given by race managers and volunteers - this is for safety and to ensure the event goes smoothly for everyone!

• All participants are to run/walk towards the side of the road indicated by markers and volunteers - do not run in the middle of the street and be alert to any hazards and traffic.

• Portions of the route are on the wide sidewalks of the city - we ask all participants to remain on the sidewalk as much as possible. Do not cross through yards, landscapes, etc.

• Rain or shine, events will proceed as planned so long as weather conditions remain safe. Payments are non-refundable. 

• We ask that all participants are checked in at least 15 minutes prior to race start time.
