Dungeons and Dragons (also known as D&D) is a tabletop role playing game which consists of a group of players, known as the Party, and a narrator referred to as the Dungeon Master (or DM). The Party explores a fantasy world the DM describes, filled with adventure, combat, and magic. This takes place over a number of sessions, and the story the Party and DM create together is referred to as a Campaign.
