This monograph is great for those looking for a campaign that offers options, as this adventure has multiple different endings that are based on player choices throughout the campaign.
For players and Dungeon Masters who are interested in Dungeons and Dragons, Mythic Odysseys of Theros allows them to see some of the more recent changes to Fifth Edition through the Theros campaign setting. This adventure book not only adds in new content such as races, subclasses, and game mechanics, but also rewrites some of the already published content such as some of the older races. This book also introduces the mythic creature mechanic, which has also caused some of the older creatures to be rewritten to include this feature. As a low level campaign, this monograph is also perfect for newer players to learn the basics of the game.
Strixhaven: Curriculum of Chaos is an important addition in regards to backgrounds, features, and spells for players to utilize when building a character. This adventure book also adds in new mechanics as far as interacting with non-player characters (or NPCs). This book in particular is also fairly inclusive as far as representation. Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft is a campaign and adventure module which explores the Ravenloft setting. This book contains a large variety of new options for character creation, including two subclasses, three "lineage" races, multiple horror themed backgrounds and creatures, and a new "Dark Gift" game mechanic. This monograph is a useful tool for Dungeon Masters interested in learning about safety tools with their players while running a campaign, as well as how to run a horror themed campaign.
