Hi! My name is Danica Nebeker, I am a current student at Salt Lake Community College in the Occupational Therapy Assistants program. I have a passion for helping individuals live an independent and fulfilling life. I believe that I can make a difference as a future occupational therapy practitioner. Occupational therapy to me is helping individuals live as and independently as possible while living a functional and meaningful life. 

Through my education I am developing a strong foundation with skills and knowledge to perform to the best of my ability. My goal is to graduate in May of 2026 and continue into working in a school or pediatric setting. 

Out side of school I love to take time for myself and take care of my well being. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether its camping, going on walks, or spending time at the lake. Along with going on adventures with my family and friends. 

Through this portfolio, I aim to showcase my growing knowledge, skills, and experiences in occupational therapy. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow.
