What are some of the services that I provide at the moment?
Psychotherapy, Wellness Coaching, & Mentoring,
Psychotherapy* & Assessment*
As a graduate intern under the supervision of Dr. Violeta Villaroman-Bautista, I was trained to provide psychosocial support services and psychological assessment at the following institutions: UP Diliman Psychosocial Services (UPD PsycServ), Life Change Recovery Center (LCRC), and Care and Counsel Wholeness Center (CCWC). I am currently working as a Psychosocial Support Specialist at UPD PsycServ.
I have also volunteered as a Psychosocial Support Specialist (PSS) with UPD PsycServ and with the Bayanihan E-Konsulta to provide free telepsychotherapy services to frontliners (e.g., healthcare workers, security guards, delivery drivers, janitors, cashiers, etc.), COVID-19 positive individuals, and those under monitoring, relatives of frontliners and COVID-19 positive individuals and those under monitoring, as well as anyone who was affected by the pandemic.
I am a certified queer-affirmative mental health practitioner after attending the certificate courses of Mariwala Health Initiative (MHI).
Collaborating with Communitails, Inc., I am trained to provide animal-assisted services and interventions, integrating the human-animal bond into mental health and psychosocial support. This has allowed me to combine academic research with hands-on practice to support clients' well-being through animal-assisted interventions and therapy.
One of my research involvements with Communitails, International Justice Mission (IJM) Philippines, and the Philippine Survivor Network (PSN) has allowed me to reinforce and strengthen my knowledge and practice in providing trauma-informed care to survivor leaders and other survivors of different kinds of abuse.
I am also currently involved in the project Pioneering Animal-Assisted Therapy for Female Adolescent Trauma Survivors in the Philippines (Project PAATTS), a project for adolescent survivors of trauma in collaboration with Communitails, the National Center for Mental Health in the Philippines and funded by the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD).
The Feminist Counseling Boot Camp of Lunas Collective has trained me to provide trauma-informed care, counseling, and support, especially to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). I am also volunteering in Lunas Collective to provide trauma-informed and feminist peer counseling and support to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).
*Please note that as a psychotherapist-in-training, I am providing psychotherapy and assessment under the supervision of a licensed psychologist in the Philippines.
I am open to offering my services related to psychotherapy, coaching, mentoring, research, and consultation regarding clinical psychology and mental health (depending on the areas of my expertise). Please send me an email (mindfulness.den@gmail.com) to get in touch with me.
