Reiek is a mountain and tourist spot 29 km from Aizawl, Mizoram, India. It rests at an elevation of 1,465 metres overlooking Aizawl and offers a view of the surrounding valleys and hills. On a clear day, the plains of Bangladesh can be seen from the top of the hill. Thick, lush green temperate trees and bushes surround Reiek Hill.
A non-denominational church founded by Dr. L.B. Sailo in 1984, it was built in the style of Solomon's Temple. They are known as 'Kohhran Thianghlim' locally and the "Holy Church" in English. Members are known as 'the elects'. The valley in which the temple is built is named Kidron Valley, which is 10 km from the heart of Aizawl City.
The Vantawng Fall is the highest waterfall in the state of Mizoram. It is ranked 13th among the highest waterfalls in the country. It is a two-tiered waterfall that falls from a height of 229 m. The waterfall is locally known as the Vantawng Khawhthla and is located very close to Thenzawl. It is 30 km from Serchhip and 97.8 km from Aizawl. The waterfall is spectacular to say the least. The Vantawng Fall is located in the Vanva River. It is located in the Vanva River near Thenzawl and is named after Vantawnga, who was said to be an excellent swimmer.
Khawnglung is about 160 km from Aizawl. With sheer cliffs on all sides, the mountain has always been a natural shelter for man and animal for ages. The Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary is rich in flora and fauna and is home to a vast number of wild animals, including the wild boar, gibbon, barking deer, sambar deer, hoolock, and leopard. The best time to visit is between October and March, for which you should contact the Department of Environment and Forest, Mizoram. Its fringe villages are Pangzawl, Rawpui, Bungtlang, Sialsir, Lungchhuan, and Chawngtui.
Nestled on the northern outskirts of Aizawl, the Durtlang Hills offer visitors a serene escape with their stunning panoramic views of the capital city and the surrounding landscapes. Easily accessible by car, this popular attraction is a favorite among locals and tourists alike for its comfortable setting and refreshing, gentle breeze that sweeps through the area. One of the main draws of Durtlang Hills is the mesmerizing vista it provides, making the city of Aizawl appear like a twinkling cluster of stars from above.
Located right in the centre of the city, this museum displays the rich heritage of Mizoram. Along with the numerous archaeological artifacts, photographs, and natural history specimens, an entire gallery here is dedicated to the Mizo tribes. The objects displayed are truly unique and not commonly found elsewhere in the world.
One of the best breathtaking views of Aizawl City is from Thuampui and Falkland sides where one can see half of Aizawl City.
Hmuifang Tourist Resort is an ideal getaway located at the scenic peak of Hmuifang Mountain, 50 km south of Aizawl. With an elevation of 1619 metres, the mountain is still covered with virgin forests reserved since the days of the Sailo chiefs. In fact, the resort was built on the former land of Lallianvunga, the erstwhile chief who once ruled over the villages in the mountains. Here, amidst nature, the resort offers comfortable accommodations, including six double rooms and a lovely cafeteria.

Located at North Tinghmun in Aizawl District. It is an artificial lake made by villagers. Boating facilities and accommodations are available, operated by Ting Dil Cooperative Society.
It is a hotspot for various bird species located in Sailam village, approximately 76 kilometers from Aizawl, and is nestled remotely within a virgin forest. The range of bird species there is impressive. For a long time, birds in Mizoram have been shy to come out due to fear of traps and hunters. With the initiative of local birders, Sailam villagers formed the Sailam Ecological Conservation Society, which has been working to educate children and villagers about the importance of conserving their flora and fauna.
