The Department of Library and Information Science, Mizoram University, in collaboration with the Central Library, National Institute of Technology Mizoram, is proud to organize the National Conference on “Transforming Libraries from Knowledge Repositories to Intelligent Information Ecosystems: Emerging Trends, Innovation, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability” (TLibRIIE-2027) on 17–18 February 2027.

The conference envisions transforming libraries from traditional knowledge repositories into intelligent, inclusive, innovative, socially responsible, and sustainable knowledge ecosystems. With the integration of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, intelligent discovery systems, digital scholarship, and sustainable practices, libraries are increasingly becoming dynamic spaces that connect people, knowledge, technologies, data, and communities. TLibRIIE-2027 seeks to explore these transformations while addressing ethical, social, professional, and technological challenges, ultimately contributing to more informed, equitable, connected, and sustainable communities.
