Welcome to D Lens: Image Search & Scan ("the App"), an AI-powered image search and scanning application developed and operated by Brainempowers ("we," "us," or "our"). D Lens lets you take or choose a photo to identify objects, plants, animals, coins, antiques and more, see related web results and store prices, ask follow-up questions in an AI chat, and scan QR codes and barcodes.
By downloading, accessing, or using D Lens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use D Lens. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for your use of the App and for any content you submit to it, including photos and chat messages.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not use the App to engage in illegal activity, transmit malware or harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with or disrupt the service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any feature of it, at any time without prior notice.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
The App's AI features (identification, web matches, price comparison and Ask AI chat) are powered in part by third-party service providers (Google Gemini API and SerpApi). With your permission, your photos and chat messages are sent to these providers to generate the results you request. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
AI results are provided for general information and entertainment only. They can be wrong or incomplete. Do not rely on them for decisions about your health or safety (for example eating a plant or mushroom, or handling an animal), for medical, legal or financial advice, or for the value, authenticity or age of coins, antiques and collectibles. Always check with a qualified professional or a trusted source.
Prices, stores, links and web results shown in the App come from third parties. We do not guarantee that they are accurate, current or available, and we are not responsible for third-party websites or for purchases you make from them.
The QR code and barcode scanner shows you what a code contains before you act on it. Open links and connect to networks only if you trust the source of the code.
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. However, you must ensure that you own or have the legal right to use any photo you upload.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
When using D Lens, you agree that you will NOT:
Upload, generate, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or hateful;
Upload photos of any person without their consent, or use the App to identify, track, stalk or harass individuals, or to create misleading or deceptive content about real people;
Upload or attempt to process content that exploits or endangers minors in any way;
Infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of others;
Use the App to produce spam, misinformation, or content intended to deceive others;
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract, or misuse the AI models, APIs, or other proprietary systems used by the App;
Use automated systems, scripts, or bots to access the App or circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements.
We reserve the right to remove content and terminate access for any user who violates these rules.
D Lens offers optional paid features, including auto-renewing subscriptions (D Lens Pro), which unlock unlimited use of the App's scanning features. All purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Current prices and subscription periods (weekly or yearly plans) are displayed in the App before purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; the trial converts to a paid yearly subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
All payments and refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's terms. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Unless we state otherwise in the App, our Terms of Use for subscriptions also include Apple's standard license agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
All rights in the App, including its user interface design, code, branding, logos and content, belong to Brainempowers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not use the D Lens name, logo, or branding without our prior written permission.
You may use the results you receive from the App for your personal purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of those results complies with applicable law and with the rights of third parties, including the owners of websites and images shown in web results.
If you voluntarily submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or obligation to compensate you.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
D Lens's results are generated by artificial intelligence and gathered from third-party sources. While we strive for quality, we do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated or third-party output, including identifications, descriptions, values and prices.
AI-generated results may contain errors or unintended content. We are not liable for how results are used or interpreted, or for any harm, loss or injury resulting from reliance on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainempowers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
These Terms are between you and Brainempowers only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, and, to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
