About the Conference

Information is a commodity in the digital era, inevitable for existence & survival. The emerging and cutting-edge technologies strive for infrastructure strengthening and boosting innovative ideas and practices, ensuring the development of all sectors to provide impetus to national development. The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, national fervor, unites all Indians to imbibe the spirit and pledge for national development whatever we do, wherever we are through honesty, sincerity, commitment, and dedication. Our NEP 2020, a roadmap for academic and research excellence, accepts and epitomizes the library as a knowledge hub and an inevitable social institution connecting the bonding of books with learning minds, focusing on infrastructure development especially digital content in multilingual languages for easier access and understanding for learners. The paradigm shift of the education system will be supported by a robust infrastructure of libraries and laboratories to generate new ideas, concepts, and search activities, leading to innovative modes, mediums, and success stories.

In the Amrit Kaal, the country celebrates the dynamics of the nation's progress, and cultural heritage, remembering national heroes and their contributions. In order to make ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Gandhi Ke Sapno Ka Bharat’ the country needs to revisit and revamp the infrastructures and innovations. The Darshan, ideas, and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi in achieving self-reliance, sanitation & hygiene, harmony & brotherhood, holistic education & learning, and building character & conduct among youths are still relevant and pertinent. The institutions like Gandhi Simit and Darshan Simit, Gandhi Bhawan, University of Delhi, Gandhi Foundation, Gandhi Museums, etc., played vital roles in propagating and promoting Gandhi’s Philosophy and Darshan.

The conference will embark upon mind-boggling ideas, concepts, thinking, creativity, use of state-of-the-art innovations at all levels, strengthening and improving the library sector across India especially remote areas by making the availability of print as well as digital content in regional languages for quenching the information quests of varied user’s community. In addition to the experts' guidance, suggestions will infuse and argue new zeal in young professionals to shoulder their responsibilities for national development and use the free technologies and resources available in open domains. The conglomeration will certainly reap a new array of ideas, methodologies, and success stories for emulation in the best interest of our educational institutions, libraries, archives, museums, and users’ welfare.
