Empower our communities;
Empower APR.
Empower our communities;
Empower APR.
"This is the first in-person APR Youth Forum since the World Scout Youth Advisor system was discontinued. The Asia-Pacific Region needs young leaders with a global perspective and experience, more than ever, to respond to the opportunities and challenges facing the region.
Having been an active volunteer in leadership roles at the national and world levels,
I now offer my service to the AP region as a candidate for RYR."
My vision aligns with the Strategy for Scouting and the APR Triennial Plan, including but not limited to the following:
"If I am elected as an RYR, I will work closely with fellow RYRs and relevant regional institutions to achieve our shared goals. I aim to empower our community and the AP region, supporting youth leadership at the local, national, and regional levels. With actions in solidarity, I am confident we can make Scouting in APR more inspiring, inclusive, and fit for purpose.
"With firsthand experience as a young adult on the National Board and committees, I am familiar with the challenges youth encounter in decision-making. The mindset and learnings I developed are assets that enable me to support youth in the Asia-Pacific in succeeding in their respective paths. "
"As a WOSM global Co-Lead, I possess comprehensive knowledge of WOSM governance and structure. While compiling Youth Leadership policies, namely the YE Report to the World Scout Committee, YLiDM Framework and Guidelines, I engaged with stakeholders worldwide and identified practices and obstacles for youth leadership. I will bring actionable insights and lessons learned for the region to consider. I believe my experience can help enhance communication between youth in the APR and the World Scouting.”
