Connected Vehicular Systems

Our research in Connected Vehicular Systems focuses on to facilitate better communication to share common interests and traffic information, personalized routes based on shared driving experience, reports on alternative routes, pollution measurements of routes and cooperative balanced routing to ease traffic congestion.

Networked Vehicular Systems

The focus of our research in vehicular networking is to build real systems in the area of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), intra-vehicle (IVC), and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication.

Networking

My research in the areas of wireless and mobile networking spans a diverse set of topics covering (i) high-performance Transport protocols, (ii) performance enhancement in cooperative relay networks, (iii) MAC protocols and routing for wireless sensor networks focusing on body area networks (WBAN) and intra-vehicle communication, and (iv) MAC layer handoff schemes for vehicular networks.
