Xi Chapter
October 2025: Xi's October program was on the Micronesian population, which is growing in our area, to learn about their culture and how we educators can support these families
in our schools and communities. Vicky Paul, a paraprofessional at Mason City High School, shared information and answered questions, and our co-presidents Laurie Lichman and Cindy Kramer shared additional information. We also welcomed our NE District Director Pat Yates as our guest.
Eta Chapter
July 2025: Another Successful Rummage Rampage in Ames!
Eta Chapter again volunteered for shifts in the annual Rummage Rampage July 25 - August 2, 2025. Eta was one of 51 non-profit organizations that volunteer hours and in return for their time, earn money for their organization. Four of our "mighty" members volunteered over 20 hours this summer in intense heat. Their efforts prevented pounds of items to be sold and reused instead of ending in the landfill. Our chapter has participated in this worthy cause for three years, and it has been a very successful fund-raiser for planning our yearly donations. Pictured below are: Picture 1: Donna N. and Ann L. Nu Alpha Gamma
June 2025: Nu Alpha Gamma Chapter was one of the host chapters for the State Convention in June so we were kept very busy. Tau Chapter
May 2025: Our Tea was Terrific!!
We had a BIG Celebration! We Celebrated out Grant in Aid recipient, Khusbu S.-Lincoln HS and two Outstanding Educator(s) (with the State Education Excellence Award)- Lindsay F.l and Meg F. V. We remembered Maxine R., who passed away. We celebrated our Founders, and we celebrated everyone’s membership in DKG.
