2025-2026 Events - "We CARE!"

September 6th at 8:30am: "WE CARE about Education!" Bring gift/supply Items for teachers back In the classroom.  Committee meetings and reports. Woodstock Country Club. Hybrid meeting, Zoom link available from Pam Dean.

October 6th at 4:30pm: "WE CARE about our Planet!" McHenry County College Planetarium. Dinner Buffet and meeting to follow. 

November 3rd at 4:30pm: "WE CARE about Creative Self Expression!" Learn to Watercolor with Angie Boe and other DKG art teachers. Prairie Grove Junior High, Crystal Lake, IL.

December 6th at 9:30am: "WE CARE about Giving!" Holiday Tea Party. Please bring your own tea cup and saucer. Card making for Vets and Assisted Living Residents. Johnsburg Public Library. Hybrid meeting, Zoom link available from Pam Dean.

January 5th at 4:30pm: Executive Board Meeting, open to all but must include all officers, chairs and past presidents. Virtual Zoom meeting.

February 2nd at 4:30pm: "WE CARE about Others!" Business meeting then Guest Speaker Jaime Lee, Executive Director of Gigi's Playhouse, Down Syndrome Achievement Center. Virtual Zoom Meeting.

March 2nd at 4:30pm: "WE CARE about the Past!" Business meeting then Guest Speaker Robert (Bob) Frenz from the McHenry County Historical Society. Bob Is author of Historic Country Schools of McHenry County. He will speak to us on that topic. 

April 24-26: DKG Illinois State Convention, Virtual.

May 2nd at 8:30am: "WE CARE about Alpha Theta!" Celebrating Alpha Theta Sisters: accomplishments, recognitions, retirements, and awards. Woodstock Country Club. Hybrid meeting, Zoom link available from Pam Dean.

June (TBA): Executive Board Meeting, open to all but must Include all officers, chairs and past presidents. Cultural Outing, TBA.
