Surgical/Dental Procedure Policy
We will collect a nonrefundable deposit of $40 at the time of any surgical/dental procedure scheduling. We regret to inform you that we will be implementing this new policy due to the number of no-shows without a timely notice to cancel or reschedule their surgical/dental appointment. Surgical/dental appointments are in high demand and our goal is to provide quality care in a timely and compassionate manner. If you must reschedule, please do so with at least a 48-hour notice to allow another patient to have access to the appointment (your $40 deposit will be forwarded to the rescheduled date). Cancellation of your appointment within the 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.
No Show/Cancellation Policy
At Dixon Veterinary Clinic, our goal is to provide the highest level of veterinary care to all our patients. Missed appointments prevent other pets from receiving timely care. To ensure efficient scheduling and care availability, we have the following no-show/cancellation policy:
Clients who have two recurring no-shows for scheduled appointments will be flagged in our system.
Once flagged, a non-refundable deposit equal to the cost of an exam ($84) will be required to schedule future appointments for each pet that is to be scheduled.
If an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled, we require at least 24 hours' notice to issue a refund for the deposit. If we are notified less than 24 hours, the deposit will not be refunded.
