Christmas Time

From the time I was little my parents worked hard to instill within me a sense of pride in my heritage. The books they read to me, the toys I played with and even the artwork in our home reflected this. Christmas was favorite time of year for the Dixons and my mother made sure to carry through with African American imagery. It is with my parents' ideals in mind that I carry on the tradition in my own work!
