Sample Lesson Plan- Diversity in Mathematics

This is a sample lesson plan to encourage students to research and familiarize themselves with non-white mathematicians so that they can see their own identities reflected in the classroom. Too often, we are taught about white men being mathematicians, but there is a diverse group of successful mathematicians that should be showcased.
