The worksheet below should be used at the beginning of the project to aid groups with refining their ideas and planning their proposed solutions. The front of the worksheet asks the pupils to consider the problem/ issue from the four STEM discpline perspectives, and the back of the worksheet provides them with space to brainstorm their solution (using words/ sketching/ etc) and note where they could go to find out information (link to 'research' tab of this webpage here also if needed)

When completing this worksheet to plan each VR scene, pupils should consider what will be right infront of them as they enter their scene (see camera angle below), as well as what will appear above, below and all around them to add interest to their scene. They will also need to consider how they will communicate information within their scene and showcase their proposed solution.

As per Department of Education Guidance on the use of AI, primary level pupils should not engage directly with GenAI platforms and so they can use the first two boxes on the worksheet below to develop and refine the description of their proposed solution (the 'prompt'), and the teacher can then input this text into the GenAI platform on their behalf. Should they wish to make further amendments following a review of the images their prompt initially generated, a third box is included on the prompt worksheet to allow for further refinement.
