MariSim
Maritime Simulation (MariSim)
MariSim is an ensemble of simulation applications specifically related to Naval and Maritime domain.
Using a combination and variation of these simulation applications, the following simulation environments are created.
NSTMSS is a High Level Architecture (HLA) based distributed simulation system that is composed of 3-Dimensional ship-handling simulators, a tactical level simulation of operational area, a virtual environment manager, and simulation management processes.
Navigation Safety is an agent-based simulation to demonstrate the capabilities of a DeCoAgent in a patrol mission carried by autonomous unmanned surface vehicles.
Strait Traffic Monitoring Simulation (STMS) is an example HLA-based simulation, which serves as a running-example for the book "Guide to Distributed Simulation Using HLA".
Maritime Border Surveillance (MBS) Using Unmanned Surface Vehicles is an HLA federation including multi agents. To perform continuous maritime surveillance, a fleet of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) is formed to detect and identify refugee boats on sea border; and to support current border control systems and manned (coast guard) boats.
