Mystic Entertainer's Core ability is known as the 'Efficient Entertainer'
Spellcasting failure % due to armor is subtracted by 2% per 5 Music class levels.
A Entertainer is trained to use the Entertain skill to create magical effects on those around him, including himself if desired. He can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + his Charisma modifier. At each level after 1st a Entertainer can use Tales, Songs and Dances for 2 additional rounds per day. Each round, the Entertainer can produce any one of the types of ability that he has mastered.
Starting a performance is a standard action, but it can be maintained each round as a free action. Changing a performance from one effect to another requires the Entertainer to stop the previous performance and start a new one as a standard action. A performance cannot be disrupted, but it ends immediately if the entertainer is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, or otherwise prevented from taking a free action to maintain it each round. A Entertainer cannot have more than one performance in effect at one time.
Each performance has audible components, visual components, or both.
If a performance has audible components, the targets must be able to hear the entertainer for the performance to have any effect, and many such performances are language dependent (as noted in the description). A deaf entertainer has a 25% chance to fail when attempting to use a performance with an audible component. If he fails this check, the attempt still counts against his daily limit. Deaf creatures are immune to performances with audible components.
If a performance has a visual component, the targets must have line of sight to the Entertainer for the performance to have any effect.
A blind Entertainer has a 50% chance to fail when attempting to use a performance with a visual component. If he fails this check, the attempt still counts against his daily limit. Blind creatures are immune to performances with visual components.
At 6th level, an entertainer can start a performance as a move action instead of a standard action.
They also gain a +1 Rank limit with Entertain skills
At 14th level, an entertainer can start a performance as a swift action.
They also gain an additional +1 Rank limit with Entertain skills
Slots provided for Metamagic feats.
Optional Feat
Encore I,II,III,IV,V,VI. . . . . - Adds an Additional Tale, Song or Dance to an Entertainer's Repertoire.
This feat can be taken any time the character gains a slot restricted to Metamagic feats even from other classes. [ But only after Mystic Entertainer lv6]
At 20th level, the Mystic Entertainer can use his performance to convert even the toughest audience. To be affected, a target must be able to see and hear them perform for 1 full round and be within 30 feet. The target can attempt a Will save (DC = 10 + half the Entertainer’s music class levels + the Entertainer’s Charisma modifier) to negate the effect. If a creature succeeds at the saving throw, the Mystic Entertainer cannot use this ability on that creature again for 24 hours. On a failure, the creature is dominated (as dominate monster) for as long as the Entertainer keeps playing/dancing/orating and is charmed (as charm monster) for 1d4 hours thereafter.
Adoring fan is a mind-affecting, compulsion effect that relies on audible , visual or somatic components.
