MPEAs span an astronomical compositional space that cannot be explored efficiently using experimental route and ab-initio methods. At IDEAs Lab, I am building data-driven models that can guide targeted alloy design for MPEAs through machine learning driven phase selection and property prediction.
CA models present a unique evolutionary approach wherein a simple system can evolve into an extremely complex system through seemingly simple decision-based rules. At IDEAs Lab, I am working on CA codes that go beyond the existing methodologies to model complex phenomenon in materials.

Austenitic stainless steels (SS304 NAG) are used in nuclear spent-fuel reprocessing plants, whereas Zr-based alloys (Zircaloy and Zr-Nb alloys) are used as fuel cladding and pressure tubes materials in reactor cores. I studied the corrosion behaviour of these alloys under different environments.
As part of the project awarded by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), we prepared a five-year clean energy roadmap for the state of Uttarakhand, India. We developed different renewable energy (RE) pathways along with the cost-benefit analysis.
