There are 3 main service providers which you must to choose for using your cell-phone and fight for the Resistace at Bangkok, Thailand.
AIS, The best one with the most reliable but little expensive than orthers (I recommend this one)
True Move H, The running up provider with good service and fair price.
Dtac, Suitable for budget agents, worst reliable and coverage but cheapest too.
Prepare yourself.
Beware of heat!
Even in November, It's winter season but Bangkok still in hot weature (as usual, there is a joke "there are 3 seasons in Thailand; Hot, Hotter and Hottest. But you know, it's not just a joke. ) So your cool sweater / leather jacket / fur coat may not your good choice here. Just thin cloths is much more better.
There are many 7-11 and many convenient stores with AC, here. That's easy refreshment pond.
Your Gears check-list
Your cell phone, surely you need it (with fully update firmware and ingress scanner app.)
Power Bank.
Bottles of water (I bet, you will need it.)
