Aerospace Engineering
Aerospace engineering is the field of engineering that is concerned with the design, testing, and manufacturing of aircraft, spacecraft, and other related systems.
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineering is the field of engineering that is concerned with products of all sorts that include movement. They deal with the forces, energies, and motion of the products.
Industrial Engineering
Industrial engineering is the field of engineering that is concerned with the design and operation of any industrial process, and is usually focused on improving efficiency in an industrial process.
Glider Plane
We sanded down the foam wings to create a shape that could create lift, as well as sanding down the sides of the body so they weren't as jagged and could be more fluid in the air. Then, we created additional back fins out of paper. Finally, we added a nail to the nose of the plane to give it more weight and move the center of mass forward. We also added little supports under the front of the wing and fins to add more lift.
We created a stomp-rocket that would be propelled when air in a bottle was shot through the rocket quickly.

The drone is programmed to takeoff, move in a predetermined path, lower to a certain height, hover, raise up, and return to the original starting point to land. This is done to simulate a drone moving to pick up an object, and returning it to the drone's original position.

After the use of simulations in RocketSim and calculating important features such as center of gravity and pressure, we designed a rocket that should propel upwards and descend gracefully with a parachute. When we first tested it, the rocket went up considerably high, but the parachute did not deploy because the glue fixing it to the body was removed off by the rocket engine. On the final test, the rocket jet was not attach properly, which caused the engine to eject from the back, which did not deploy the parachute.
