We modified a Tamiya Tracked vehicle and coded it to navigate a maze that simulated escaping a damaged building. We programmed a RedBoard to process live data from an ultrasonic distance sensor and a physical bumper sensor. Overall, this project showed us how to build and code autonomous rovers capable of handling unpredictable, real-world environments.
