Hello! My name is Jenna and I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill where I attended the School of Information and Library Science to obtain my Library Science degree. My interest is in School Media specifically in middle schools.

The purpose of this project was to find accurate and authentic representations of disabled people in graphic novels and this website is the end result of this research. All of the graphic novels, comics, manga and webtoons have been determined by reviewers and myself to be authentic and accurate representations without reinforcing stereotypes. However, this does not mean these disabled characters are representative of all people with that disability. If there are any resources on this website that may contribute to stereotypes and harmful representation, please fill out the suggestion form stating what resource it is and why it is harmful.
