MAKING AN IMPACT THROUGH CREATIVITY
EDIT MAGAZINE
My sustainable designs were captured for these editorial magazine FEAUTURE SPREADS. Alongside the feature, I was INTERVIEWED about my design journey, my inspirations, and my mission to create a lasting impact through circular fashion. It is an honor to share my story and show how we can redefine the future of the industry.
NEW WAVE SUSTAINABLE FASHION SHOW
I was selected by the Amsterdam Fashion and Luxury Society to showcase my SUSTAINABLE COLLECTION, these 6 entirely upcycled looks explore the intersection of streetwear rebellion and circular fashion. By playing with the vibrant graphics and unexpected colors of discarded materials, the collection transforms overlooked textiles into bold, expressive silhouettes— giving forgotten fabrics a brand-new life on the runway.
SWAP STYLE SHOW- AN EVENT OF SUSTAINABLE FASHION
I was invited to participate in a FASHION SHOW hosted at Breda University, where I showcased my UPCYCLED COLLECTION, "REBIRTH OF THE OLD." This collection transforms discarded garments through the technique of overprinting, creating unique pieces to be cherished and extending the life of clothing.
Following the show, I held a TALK explaining the message behind collection and encouraging action toward a more sustainable future in fashion and exploring how everyone can contribute.
"Style isn't about consumption—it's about creativity, upcycling, and giving clothes the second life they deserve."
SUSTAINABLE CHALLENGE 2025 BARCELONA
I had the incredible opportunity to be one of 30 students selected from across Europe to participate in the 4-DAY SUSTAINABLE CHALLENGE at @MODA FAD in Barcelona. This year’s theme, “Collective Mending,” brought together a diverse group of creatives for an exciting and intensive FASHION MARATHON focused on making fashion more sustainable, circular, and emotionally meaningful through mending.
publish in VEIN Magazine and Fucking Young! Magazine.
Throughout the challenge at @Dissenyhub Barcelona, we collaborated to reimagine discarded garments- transforming what many viewed as WASTE INTO EXPRESSIVE WEARABLE PIECES. It was a powerful reminder that the future of fashion lies not in producing more, but in how we repair, rework, and reconnect with what already exists.
My team’s design, “GLIMPSE OF HOPE,” symbolizes the duality of the fashion ecosystem:
• Black represents the current decaying and unsustainable system.
• Colour reflects the hope for a vibrant, regenerative future.
This look was presented at the FASHION SHOW at FAD and will be EXHIBITED at the MUSEUM later in the year!
INTERNSHIP: LOUISE XIN COUTURE & OPEN STORY FOUNDATION
I had the eye-opening opportunity to work on a FASHION IMPACT DOCUMENTARY, researching and creating visuals on ethics and inequality in fashion. I also contributed to the Sustainable HERITAGE SCARF PROJECT, designing visuals and mood boards that support early-stage fashion design while celebrating global textile traditions and artisan communities.
I also produced an original ILLUSTRATION highlighting the inequalities within fashion - merging art, advocacy, and storytelling. With this, I want to highlight that behind every garment and pattern are real people and stories, and show how creativity can shine a light on inequality and inspire reflection.
INTERNSHIP: BHUMI CLOTHING-HAUTE COUTURE
Hands-on experience in the haute couture design process, PIONEERING 3D PRINTING to create one-of-a-kind, inclusive pieces that empower women to embrace their natural forms.
A COLLAB: SEVEN CLEAN SEAS x DIRTYFINGER
Seven Clean Seas flew me out to their factory in Batam to create a piece of ARTWORK OUT OF OCEAN WASTE that they collected. This piece was sold at their charity auction raising funds for further ocean impact projects!
THRIVE MAGAZINE
Article featuring the story behind the Tranforming Trash Exhibition and my journey as an Artist and Designer.
KEMBALI RECYCLING CENTER
The KEMBALI is an artwork that does the dirty work—A RECYCLING CENTER created for the Sibang community in Bali. My hope was to inspire through my art, to bring communities together, and to create positive change.
I aimed to create a space that educates with art, raising awareness on waste pollution and encouraging recycling. A space that is high in functionality and unique in originality. It's the biggest piece of artwork I have ever worked on, created out of discarded waste materials: bottle caps, cans, flip flops, plastic bags, glass bottles...
I created and directed a WORKSHOP which ran every week for the community to be a part of bringing the Kembali to life:
TRANSFORMING TRASH EXHIBITION
As an artist, I want to use my passion to inspire, raise pollution awareness, and create a tangible impact with colors and imagination. All nine artworks were transformed out of DISCARDED MATERIALS.
SPEAK UP MONDAY TALK SHOW
For the opening night of the TRANSFORMING TRASH EXHIBITION, I was a guest on the world-renowned SPEAK UP MONDAY TALK SHOW with Robert Ian Bonnick. I spoke about sustainability impact awareness and the intent and story behind this exhibition.
With this TRAVELING EXHIBITION, my creations traveled around Bali and were exhibited in five different locations: Luigi's, Tropical Nomad, Compound Gallery, Sari's Kitchen, and THRIVE Hotel. Each piece sold contributed to the Rotary Club of Shouson Hill's impact projects in Indonesia.

Peduli Anak- ART CAN MAKE A CHANGE
A five-day visit at PEDULI ANAK, an ORPHANAGE AND SCHOOL for underprivileged children, involved hosting Arts and Crafts Workshops, connecting with the children through creativity. I painted a mural in their classroom to brighten their learning environment and designed a T-shirt, raising over €500 for their art program.

Sustainable Art Workshop
Held at BATU BAMBOO KIDS, a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION for underprivileged children. The kids used the medium of art to creatively express their emotions and explore language, crafting heartfelt messages to their mothers in English.
TRILINGUAL COLOURING BOOK
I created a COLOURING BOOK designed to teach children how to maintain cleanliness, stay healthy, and protect themselves from viruses like COVID-19. The book makes learning fun and creative while incorporating elements of language exposure. It was developed in collaboration with the HONG KONG GUIDE DOG ASSOCIATION, with a portion of the proceeds going to support their cause.
