About me

I am ELLA aka DIRTYFINGER and was born and raised in the bustling city of Hong Kong, where I grew up as a third-culture kid with Chinese and German influences. 

During the pandemic, I spent two years in Europe, discovering and drawing inspiration as an artist. My collection of artworks was exhibited in Switzerland, and I also had the opportunity to hold a SOLO EXHIBITION in Germany. 

After residing on the serene island of Bali for three years, I graduated from GREEN SCHOOL BALI. Learning in nature, immersed in the knowledge and practices of sustainability, inspired a new direction in my art. CREATING ART THAT MAKES A CHANGE. 

I held a TRAVELING EXHIBITION across five locations in Bali, featuring artworks made entirely from discarded materials to raise awareness about waste pollution through art.

My art is a playful exploration of my surroundings, woven together by an endless tapestry of vibrant imagination. My creations evoke a sense of boundless possibility, infusing the world with my ORIGINAL CHARACTERS- DIRTYMONSTERS, carefree spirit, and unbridled joy.
