  • Websites for organizations like charities and nonprofits. Many times these are reliable, but look out for sensational language!

  • Commercial website - might just be trying to sell you something! Think about what the website has to gain by giving you the information that's on it.

When reading an article, keep your eyes out for...

• Sensational language or images

• ALL CAPS!!!!!

• Unbelievable or far-fetched claims

• Jokes and satire
