Last updated: August 15, 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Direct Chat mobile application ("the App"), published on Google Play by Patoliya Infotech LLP ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.Direct Chat lets you open a WhatsApp conversation with any phone numberusing WhatsApp's public `wa.me` link scheme, **without saving that number asa contact** on your device. The App also provides:- Keypad — enter a number and start a chat directly.- Recent — a history of numbers you've messaged through the App, stored locally on your device only. We do not upload this history to our servers.- Quick Reply — save and reuse frequently sent messages.- QR Code — generate a scannable QR code that opens a WhatsApp chat with your number when scanned.- WhatsApp Web — a shortcut to WhatsApp Web in your browser.- After Call Automation (optional) — with your permission, the App detects when a phone call ends and shows a quick-action popup for that number (message on WhatsApp, save the contact, send an SMS, or call back). This feature only activates if you grant Phone and "Display over other apps" permissions during setup, and you can turn it off at any time from the App's settings.2. No Affiliation with WhatsApp
Direct Chat is an independent, third-party app. It is **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc.** in any way. "WhatsApp" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. We rely entirely on WhatsApp's publicly documented `wa.me` link format; we do not have access to your WhatsApp account, messages, or contacts, and using Direct Chat requires WhatsApp to already be installed on your device.Direct Chat does not require you to register, log in, or create an account. Some features (like Recent history and Quick Reply) store data locally on your device using your device's storage; that data stays on your device and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its storage.4. Subscriptions (Direct Chat Pro)
The App offers an optional Pro subscription that removes all advertising (banner, interstitial, native, and app-open ads) from the App.- Pro is billed monthly and auto-renews unless cancelled.- Price is shown in your local currency at the time of purchase, based on your Google Play account region.- All payments are processed by Google Play Billing — we do not collect or store your payment card details.- You can cancel anytime from the Google Play Store's subscription management screen. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.- To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.- Refunds are governed by Google Play's own refund policies, not by us directly — see Google Play's Terms of Service for details.If you are not subscribed to Pro, the App displays advertisements served through Google AdMob to support free use of the App. Ads may be shown as banners, full-screen (interstitial) ads, native ads, or app-open ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on what advertising partners may collect.The App requests only the permissions it needs for the features you choose to use:- Internet— to load ads, check for updates, and generate QR codes.- Notifications — to show update and feature notifications.- Phone state and Display over other apps — only if you enable After Call Automation; used solely to detect when a call ends and show the quick-action popup. We do not read your call log or call history.You agree not to use Direct Chat to:- Send unsolicited, abusive, harassing, or spam messages to any person.- Violate WhatsApp's own Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App, or attempt to bypass its advertising or subscription mechanisms.- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.We reserve the right to suspend or block access to the App for anyone who violates these Terms.The App, its name, logo, and in-app content are owned by Patoliya Infotech. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission.9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, or that WhatsApp, Google Play Billing, or any third-party service the App depends on will always be available.10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patoliya Infotech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to messages sent to the wrong number, missed after-call notifications, or subscription billing disputes handled by Google Play.11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or your access to it, at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.Questions about these Terms?
