  • Electrical Control and Computer Vision, Autonomous Golf Cart Project

Supervisor: Dr. Jonathon Lin, Eastern Michigan University

    • Leading the group of 10 members in the Autonomous golf car project to build the electrical control system in ROS

    • Conducted one project meeting with American Haval Motor Technology (AHMT), who are also interested in this project.

    • Path planning and mapping will be introduced through machine learning by processing the data gathered by

    • LiDAR, camera, GPS, radar, and other sensors.

    • Also working as a group member in the Computer Vision team to work on the AI part for the autonomous golf car using python.

  • Hardware security

Supervisor: Dr. Fathi Amsaad, Eastern Michigan University

    • Researched embedded system security and integration of blockchain in hardware security.

    • Working on blockchain-based security and privacy opportunities on the Internet of Vehicles

    • Found the vulnerabilities in autonomous vehicle security and develop robust security for ECU and CAN bus.

    • PUF and Hardware Trojan has been implemented in the Basys3 board using VHDL in Xilinx Vivado and ModelSim.

    • Propose basic architecture model for IoT

    • Find out security challenge and most common cyber-physical attacks of IoT
