A couple weeks ago, I heard Dinosaur Adventure was coming to Nashville, Tennessee on the 1st and 2nd of January. As a dinosaur enthusiast since childhood, I could not wait to experience the prehistoric adventure as an adult. I was given tickets to facilitate writing this review.

The event took place at The Fairgrounds in Nashville, which is an entertainment complex, with good parking for family cars! Adult tickets for the event retail for $29 and include access to the exhibit, crafts section, dino dig, and live entertainment. The Child tickets retail for $30 and include 3 tickets for attractions in addition to the adult access. If you are looking for goodies for yourself or the little ones, you could purchase an Adventure pack which is includes a Dinosaur Adventure drawstring backpack, hatching dinosaur egg, plush toy, fossil dig block, and a sticker pack for 29$ OR the Ultimate Adventure pack which contains all the items from the adventure pack plus a Dinosaur Adventure T-Shirt, one fossil/gem panning bag, green screen photo for $49. (Both of these packs do not include admission.)

In the middle of a sunny Saturday afternoon in April, fewer than 25 visitors roam the heavily shaded park, located just off a stretch of Pensacola Avenue car dealerships. In the science center, a couple of girls are busy with the "dinosaur dig," flinging sand to unearth a cement dinosaur's skeletal spine. Upstairs, a group of boys scrutinizes a taxidermied bat.

Professor Hacker seemed to have flown off course on his hot air balloon ride and landed among what was thought to be extinct dinosaurs! Putt around T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and more on this pristine miniature golf course in North Myrtle Beach.

A team of scientists and researchers endured incredible hardships to reach a site many would rather avoid - the Alaskan wilderness - and in the process, uncovered unfossilized dinosaur bones. The implications are enormous, for how can dinosaurs be 65 million years old if their bones are still unfossilized?

In a world where dinosaurs cohabit with gorillas, gazelles, and other animals, two dinosaurs are waiting for their egg to hatch. When the egg finally hatches, a dinosaur comes out, and they decide to call him "Tio".

When the volcano erupts, Tio, Cree, and three crocodiles take shelter in a cave until the dust has cleared. When they come out, they meet up with Oro who tells them he split up with the other dinosaurs. The three crocodiles leave in search of water, while Oro, Cree, and Tio decide to set out and look for the other dinosaurs. After picking sticks to determine the direction, the trio heads west until coming across a group of apes. They make friends with the apes, and a little monkey named Raja. After Raja tells them he found dinosaur footprints, Oro, Tio and Cree head out following the footprints.

Eventually, the prints lead them to Ak, a former critic of Oro's, along with other dinosaurs who have started to eat meat, much to the shock of the three. When Cree sees Peek and Faa with them, he determines they haven't changed, and they decide to come with them when Ak is asleep. When Oro confronts Ak, Ak tells him Tio's parents went east, determining the next place to go.

After Peek and Faa join them, Cree is sent to scout out for food sources. When he finds that plains aren't far ahead, the four dinosaurs catch up with him and find a baby crocodile near a lake. He tells them Tio's parents are just up ahead, and the five are on their way. While in a jungle, they see a baby dinosaur who says his name is Tio the Second. He explains he was named after his dead brother, and Tio explains he is the brother. After this, Tio II leads them to his and Tio's parents, and they decide to adopt the parentless Faa. It shows some dinos don't change, as Cree starts hanging out with Tio II.

Last week my husband and I took our children up to the beautiful state of Tennessee. We were visiting my sister and brother-in-law on their farm for eight days.
