SPF

SPF is a musical group consisting of Jona Thomas on drums, Tom Chan on bass guitar, and myself on guitar and vocals. Along with playing several shows at local venues around Ottawa, during the summer of 2016, we recorded our first album which can be found on BandCamp.

All 6 tracks were recorded in my home studio. I recorded the band in analog using my 8 track tape machine and my 16 track console. I then digitized the recordings to mix and master the tracks in a DAW (Digital Work Station).

Recording with Jona and Tom was a absolute pleasure and this album is a memory we'll always be able to share. The actual recording of the album gave me great experience in recording a full, live band which brought with it valuable lessons in recording and mixing techniques I continue to drawn upon.
