Tommy Davis has always had a passion for "doing right," by the environment. At first it was just an attitude of "do as little damage as possible," to the land while still accomplishing goals. But as life sometimes dictates, it eventually took some twists and turns.
Today, his focus is primarily on restoration. Unfortunately, so many times the damage has been done and there is just no other recourse than to "clean-it-up." Davis' company started out screening sand with the BP Oil Spill, was a first-responder to the flood near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, cleaned up the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas and most recently Hurricane Michael in Florida.
His return to Texas has resulted in yet another need that just needs "cleaning up." Over-the-years, the State of Texas has accumulated millions-and-millions of used tires. Many of them have been left in unauthorized piles. These tires pose an environmental hazard -- in that they can catch on fire and burn for days, weeks or even months. And, they also pose a safety hazard -- they catch water, which breeds mosquitos, which in turn pass on diseases.
Davis is currently working on a two-fold project with officials that will restore land and remove hundreds of thousands of used tires from the Texas horizon. He has recently assembled the largest, portable shredder available in the U.S. and a shear for over-sized tires. This way tires can be shredded on site if needed. He has a fleet of heavy-duty storm trucks that are self-loading for quick removal of debris.
His company is licensed and permitted to haul and dispose of these tires by TCEQ and will provide you with a paperwork trail as proof that the job has been completed properly.
If you have a used tire or rubber track removal project, please feel free to contact Tommy Davis at 325-642-3949 for quotes or Renee' Lunsford, Operation Manager

The 90,000 pound shredder can be mounted on a trailer, so that it can accommodate on-site shredding needs.
