The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 serves as the principal agency driving the advancement of local governance, peace, and security across Central Luzon. The region encompasses seven dynamic provinces—Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales—each known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant economy, and resilient communities.
As a regional office of the DILG, Region 3 plays a pivotal role in fostering effective governance by providing technical assistance, policy guidance, and capacity-building initiatives to local government units (LGUs). These efforts are aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and participatory governance, ensuring that LGUs are equipped to deliver essential services and respond to the needs of their constituents.
DILG Region 3 is also deeply committed to maintaining peace and order, protecting public safety, and strengthening disaster resilience. By collaborating with national government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector, it ensures the implementation of innovative programs that address both long-standing and emerging challenges within the region.
Through its leadership and advocacy, DILG Region 3 envisions a Central Luzon that thrives in good governance, upholds the rule of law, and cultivates inclusive growth. It is dedicated to empowering local communities to be active partners in nation-building, transforming Central Luzon into a hub of progress and sustainable development.
