I have always been fascinated by the details of Victorian buildings, each telling a story of history and society. The incredible precision of Incan architecture, which has stood the test of time with unparalleled durability, fascinates me as well. These structures exemplify how ingenuity can solve complex problems. For me, engineering represents a blend of past achievements, future innovations, and practical solutions. This is why I am interesting in civil engineering, and even textile engineering, as both fields offer a chance to engage with history and modernity.
The classes I have completed and am currently taking as a Junior are essential in pursuing my career goal of becoming a Civil Engineer or a different engineering field . My coursework includes Algebra, Geometry, Biology Honors, and Engineering 1, which set a strong foundation. Currently, I am enrolled in Accelerated Algebra 2 Honors and Pre-Calculus, AP Physics, and Engineering 2. I have thoroughly enjoyed and valued these classes, as each one interconnects. This comprehensive curriculum is equipping me with the essential knowledge and skills needed for my future career in Civil Engineering or a different engineering field.
I have been involved in a math club with my current math teacher, which has been very enjoyable. I joined an Engineering Club where I learned how to make and use basic coding for basic things, develop mechanisms with my team, and brainstorm ideas trying to get solutions. I have also been accepted into the National Honor Society and am currently focusing on increasing my volunteer hours.
I would like to go to college and have a professional career. I believe that to meet my goals I need to study after high school. I want to go to a four year University where I can learn about new things and learn how my career is in real life and how to be successful.
I will go straight into the workforce after I graduate from college because I can make money and continue learning tips for my career while I am working. Even if I move, as long as I stick to my clear goals that I have set, I will achieve them.
After achieving my career goal, I will affect the community in which I live by building structures that will be safer for the people who live there. I am a person that loves to make things for people to love, enjoy and benefit from.
When I attain my dream I hope to be a person that helps every teenager like me to find their dreams. I would also like to be a good example for them and more for my sister. I am an empathetic person and I am trying to be fair to everyone all the time. If and when I run my own company, I will always put my employees first and do the best I can for everyone.
