Modification

Modification: 

• What does modification mean? A modification is a change in the curriculum. Modifications are for students with disabilities who can not comprehend all of the content being taught (Do It, 2022). 

• How does this affect general education teachers?  Teachers may have to use modification frequently. An example of a modification is having a student complete an alternate assignment that is more easily achievable (Pacer Center, n.d.). 

-Modifications are part of specially designed instruction that allows students to access and make progress in the general curriculum (Accommodation Central, n.d.).
