What does Local Education Agency (LEA) mean? - An LEA is a representative of a school district who is qualified to provide or supervise the provision of, specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities (Word Press, 2022).
How does this affect general education teachers? Teachers are able to collaborate with the LEA in order to make sure they are teaching the curriculum in an effective manner. The LEA may be able to offer insight into various skills that may help students understand better.
