"Netiquette" is the do's and don't's of your online presence. Internet etiquette, or netiquette, can be best summarized as just using good manners online. Never share private information online. Netiquette can also be defined as the acceptable online use in a social online environment. Consider the following example: when emailing your college instructor seeking clarification on an assignment, be sure to use proper grammar, include a subject line, avoid abbreviations and end with a proper salutation. Simple internet netiquette is making sure your email is clear precise and the message will not be perceived negatively.
