Communication is the ability to share thoughts and ideas clearly. Collaboration is working with others to reach a shared goal. Online, this includes:

• Emails, chats, video calls

• Shared documents (Google Docs, Slides)

• Online discussion boards or learning platforms

English is about expression—spoken and written. In digital environments, students must learn:

• How to give respectful feedback online

• How to collaborate on essays or projects remotely

• How tone and language can be misunderstood in texts or emails
