Use Spyware like GoGuardian to check in and chat with students while they work. See what they are working on in real time and redirect them as needed, while being available for questions when they need you most. Plus they will think it is cool to be chatting with you!
Don't have spyware? Use Google Classroom's "Make a Copy" feature to monitor them as they work on your Assignments in the same way (or have students attach their file while they work). You can quickly see where they are and "visit" them on the docs, slides, etc. as they work and suggest changes directly in their work zone.
