In this part, you'll have the opportunity to deeply understand the artists behind this blog as we delve into their captivating exhibit named Bugtaw. The term "bugtaw" in Hiligaynon means "awake" or "the act of open one's eyes after a sleep." It represents the time when the light begins to shine and illuminate the surroundings.
The artists deliberately chose the name Bugtaw for their exhibit to evoke a sense of awakening and transformation. Just as the act of waking brings a renewed sense of hope and possibilities, the artworks showcased in Bugtaw aim to inspire viewers to embark on their own personal journeys of self-discovery and growth. Each piece is a testament to the artist's desire to capture the essence of that pivotal moment when the light begins to shine and illuminate the surroundings, symbolizing the emergence of new perspectives and profound insights.
Bugtaw serves as a powerful reminder that art has the ability to ignite a spark within us, awakening our souls and inviting us to see the world through a different lens. It is an invitation to embrace the beauty, the emotion, and the symbolism embedded within each artwork, and to experience a profound connection that transcends intellectual analysis. The artist hopes that Bugtaw will serve as a catalyst for personal reflection, allowing viewers to embark on their own transformative journeys of self-discovery and enlightenment.

Art is not about only on paintings and drawings, but it is also about expressing ourselves in a different way. My art is all about photography. I am not that kind of a photographer that has good cameras, good lenses and knows all the right angles on a particular subject. In my own perspective, I love to take pictures on places, things and even people who became part of my life. I like to take pictures in everything that really reminds me of some things that gives meaning to my life and this is how I express what I feel. Also, I love taking pictures of those people who show their smile and happy faces. With that, photography helps to find the beauty in life. Like me, I like to show a positive outlook in everything which gives me strength and happiness. Photography really gives me a voice to show my own story.

If my life is a movie, the title would be "Enigma" because I am a person who is hard to decode. I don't even know myself that well, and I still struggle to understand who I am as a person. Thus, I transformed these thoughts into a movie poster and showcased myself through this medium to tell a story of who I am.

This is my artwork that I present during our display. This photo of mine has a lot of stories to tell from embracing my true identity. Telling to the world that be who you are, you can show off who you are through different artwork like mine. Through this artwork I convey different emotions through my facial expressions that allows me to showcase how picture can be impactful also to the world.
This artwork change my views. What if I was born a she and not a he and the he now will flourish more than what I'm now. That everything is easy from what I feel inside and what I do in my daily basis that's why I name this art as "A she that I never had".
