1. Account Deletion Request
We respect your right to control your data. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the application at any time.
Steps to delete your account:
Open the Digi Logbook app and sign in.
Tap the Profile Icon in the top-right corner of the Dashboard.
Tap the "Edit Profile" button (pencil icon).
Scroll down to the bottom section labeled "Danger Zone".
Tap the "Delete Account & Data" button.
Confirm the action in the pop-up dialog.
Note: If you have deleted the app or cannot access it, you may email us at [kiranraj120@gmail.com] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and your registered email address. We will process your request manually within 30 days.
2. Types of Data Deleted
When you confirm account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
Identity Data: Your user profile, name, email address, and authentication credentials.
Medical Logs: All procedure logs, clinical notes, patient demographics (MRN/Age), and case details.
Media: All uploaded images (X-rays, clinical photos) associated with your logs.
Analytics: Your user ID is disassociated from future analytics data.
3. Data Retention Policy
Immediate Deletion: Upon confirming the deletion in the app, your data is immediately removed from our active Firestore database and Authentication records. You will be automatically logged out.
Backups: Residual copies of your data may remain in our encrypted cloud backups for up to 30 days, after which they are permanently overwritten. We do not access or restore this data unless required by law.
Data Kept: We do not retain any of your personal or clinical data after account deletion.
