WORLD BOOK & COPYRIGHT DAY
On 23rd April, the Literary Club of the Senior Department hosted an unforgettable Author’s Interaction with Sanya Malhotra, our esteemed alumna and the award- winning author of the captivating poetry collection ‘Yours Truly’, a proud recipient of the prestigious Emily Dickinson Award. The event kicked off with a vibrant ice-breaker, where Ms. Sanya connected with students by inquiring about “the chapter” they are currently experiencing in their lives.
The atmosphere turned even more energetic as students formed groups of five to respond to a creative prompt and craft their own micro-stories, which were later presented by enthusiastic representatives from each group. To cap off this enriching experience, two students delivered a delightful enactment that vividly illustrated the value of reading, bringing a beloved fictional character to life through their imaginative lens. This engaging session blended creativity with learning, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of literature and the power of imagination. The enthusiasm among students was palpable, and they eagerly look forward to more inspiring events in the future.
Wishing our fellow students a day filled with the magic of literature and the appreciation for copyright. As the Literary Club, we celebrate the joy of reading and respect the creative efforts of authors worldwide. Let's cherish the stories that inspire us while upholding the importance of copyright protection. Keep turning those pages and exploring new worlds through the power of books!
