SHORT FILM 

Your film should:

• Only have four students max per group

• Be a maximum of 1 minute long, including title

• No credits at the end

• Be predominantly in video format.

• Tell a story or convey a message that holds the audience’s attention.

• Demonstrate camera work that shows an understanding of composition and shooting techniques (angles, movement, lighting, framing).

• Contain appropriate props, costumes, sets, and locations.

• Show editing that enhances and adds impact to the message or story.

• Have compelling and interesting actors/presenters.

• Contains background music that enhances the story and/or uses music to convey the message.

• Music used must be copyright free and available for reuse OR be original content created by the students.
