CODING ANIMATION 

Your animation should:

● Be created using code or block programming. We recommend 'Scratch Junior' on iPads for Year 1-2 and 'Scratch' for Year 3 and up, which can be run off a desktop or used in a web browser.

● Entries should be original work - not remixes of other material or the direct outcome of guided tutorials.

● Include some aspect of animation (movement) rather than simply being a static slideshow.

● Show good composition and have a purposeful or compelling message.

● Be a maximum of 1 minute long, including title

● No credits

● Your complete animation should be captured as a movie file: we recommend using 'Screencastify' for chromebooks or laptops; turn screen recording on in Control Center if using iPads.

● Music or images used must be copyright free and available for reuse OR original content created by the students.

● Code should run from beginning to end without any user interaction (i.e., a student should not be controlling objects using the mouse or keyboard).
