instructions for more blocks
the only reason i even put this block in was as a runaround
it turns off water for the level
nearly missed me there bertha
seconds before getting munched
this whole stage was just a ripoff of smb3's 3-8
swim under the blocks when you reach the end for a secret
my mom once complained that the background here looked too real and not cartoony
giant enemies
another random building
hammer bro. barrage
boomerang bro. barrage
bomb bro. barrage
shell bro. barrage
fire bro. barrage
ice bro. barrage
bullet bro. barrage
torpedo bro. barrage
this huge bounce block shoots you straight up
another boring coin heaven
more bounce blocks
the road forks here, you can skip to the next area if you want
or face the sledge bros.
they also throw boomerangs
and bombs that explode on contact
and bowser statue style fire
and THIS atrocity from tnea
and finally, the rainbow sledge
it takes two hits to defeat
not worth it
you can skip the sledges and dive right into the next area
more giant things
yay the pow block that kills everything on the screen <3
press it and hop on
clever use of the mario-only block
nearly completed world 3 map
world 3 yoshi house
valeria's embassy.
this stage is ANNOYING and LONG
first trial: rip van fish pit
entrance to second trial
second trial: blooper nanny pit
third trial: torpedo ted pit
fourth trial: urchin pit
final trial that recycles everything from the last four
you'll need to kill this with a throw block or something
remember that block from earlier? yeah it's only used here
cheap workaround to make the stage waterless all of a sudden
just so that i didn't have to dress up mouser with a swim suit here
excuse me- magic?
all non-green mushroom platforms here are bouncy
the background screws up all the normal palettes in this level
lazy background modeled after the mushroom stems
great way to end the level- in midair
world 4 yoshi house
take the cloud all the way up
this is the only yoshi house that actually gives you something useful
my mom and my tia call these vaquitas for some reason
the green ones are faster
i hate scrolling stages passionately
cute formation but you're supposed to run through the goal to kill em all at once
this huge springboard shoots you really high into outer space
almost there, be sure to hold the button down to reach the top
i love the gravity patch i used here it's really fun
spin jump on all of em in a row for the 1up
you can clip through this "asteroid" by walking along the corners
if you press down while inside the asteroid, you get to meet cirina
shortcut to lynette's embassy
annoying way to end the stage
cloudy fort intro
i actually like the level design here
secret passageway here
just break 'em
walk along the roof all the way to the right to get this
gets a little cramped here, though
see that coin? there's another secret passage around here
don't get crushed by him
the passageway is right through here
just walk along the roof, this time all the way to the left
you drop through this chute straight to the boss room
boom-boom fight with smokescreen
annoying no-coin block flags
get all the purple coins to get the purple comet
end the stage by getting 50 and getting the comet
rainy stage layout that harkens back to a segment in karla's stage from Diego's Challenge.
normal koopas
elite green koopa. i don't remember exactly what it does
elite blue koopas throw their shells at you
missed me
elite red koopas shoot fire
elite yellow koopas shoot more fire
base of the giant tree
entrance to the tree
inside the tree
doppelganger koopa
fallen koopa. it blows a really strong wind at you.
i forgot why there was a springboard here
flying elite green koopa. it shoots itself in mario's direction.
flying elite red koopa. it showers you with fire.
flying elite blue koopa. it just launches at you too.
