I am an Assistant Professor at the Universidad de Navarra and a Research Fellow at the Navarra Center for International Development. I completed my PhD in August 2025 at the Institute of Economics and Social Research (IRES) of the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) under the supervision of Prof. Joseph Gomes. 

My research interests lie at the intersection of Political Economy and Development Economics, with a focus on how cultural distance influences outcomes such as participation in the global economy and social identification. I am also particularly engaged in studying conflict dynamics within sub-Saharan Africa.
