I am a PhD candiate in economics at the Institute of Economics and Social Research (IRES) of the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) under the supervision of Prof. Joseph Gomes. I am currently funded with the FRESH doctoral grant by Le Fond de La Recherche Scientifique (FNRS).

My research interests lie at the intersection of Political Economy and Development Economics, with a focus on how cultural distance influences outcomes such as participation in the global economy and social identification. I am also particularly engaged in studying conflict dynamics within sub-Saharan Africa.
