This Privacy Policy describes how DictAI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the DictAI: Public Speaking Coach mobile application ("App").
When you use the speech analysis feature, audio is recorded from your device's microphone and securely transmitted to Google Gemini API for real-time analysis. Audio is processed temporarily and is not recorded, stored, or retained by DictAI or Google Gemini API after analysis is complete.
We store your speech session results (scores, metrics, filler word counts, session duration) locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is used to show your progress over time and is never transmitted to our servers.
If you subscribe to DictAI Premium, purchases are processed by Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data beyond what Apple collects as part of the App Store ecosystem.
Audio data: Sent to Google Gemini API solely for real-time speech analysis. Not stored.
Session data: Stored locally on your device to display your improvement over time.
Purchase data: Used to verify your subscription status and unlock Premium features.

Session results are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Audio is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to Google Gemini API.
We do not maintain any user accounts or store personal information on our servers.
DictAI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no data to access, correct, or delete from our end. Session data stored locally on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the App.
DictAI requires microphone access to record your speech for analysis. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device Settings → DictAI → Microphone.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
