# Privacy Policy

The Dice Dishoom team (the "Developer", "we", "our", "us") has adopted this Privacy Policy ("Policy") to explain how Dice Dishoom ("the App", "Service") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects the information collected when you use the App.
By installing, registering for, or using Dice Dishoom, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page along with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes signifies your acceptance.

## 1. Information we collect
The table below lists every category of data the App or its third-party SDKs send off your device. This list matches our Google Play Data Safety declaration.
### Data you provide when you sign in
When you tap "Sign in with Google", Google returns the following information about your Google account to the App. We store it in our backend so other players can identify you and so the App can keep your account across devices.

We do **not** collect: precise GPS location, contacts, calendar, microphone audio, photos / videos from your device, SMS or call logs, payment information, health or fitness data, or any sensitive personal data.

## 2. How we use this information
We use the information collected only for the purposes listed below — purposes that match our Google Play Data Safety declaration:
- **App functionality** — sign-in, matchmaking, sending push notifications for game invites, showing your profile to opponents.
- **Account management** — creating and maintaining your account.
- **Analytics** — understanding feature usage and stability.
- **Advertising or marketing** — serving and measuring ads via Google AdMob.
We do **not** sell your personal information to third parties.

## 3. Data sharing
The data described above is processed by the following service providers acting on our behalf or as independent controllers (for ads):
- **Google Firebase** (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics) — operated by Google LLC. See the [Firebase Privacy and Security page](https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
- **Google Sign-In** — operated by Google LLC. See the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

We follow the [Android Advertising ID Policy](https://play.google.com/about/monetization-ads/ads/ad-id/) and the [Google Play Families Policy](https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9893335).
We do not transfer your data to anyone other than the service providers listed above and as required by law (for example, in response to a valid legal process).

## 4. Data retention
We keep your personal data (name, email, photo URL, UID, online status, push token) in Firebase Realtime Database for as long as your account exists.
Crash logs and Analytics events are retained according to Google's standard retention windows for Firebase services (typically 90 days for Crashlytics; up to 14 months for default Analytics events, or as configured in our Firebase project).
When you delete your account (see Section 5) we permanently delete the data we control immediately.

## 5. Your choices and controls
### How to delete your account and data — IN-APP (recommended)
You can permanently delete your account and all the personal data we have about you directly from inside the app:
1. Open Dice Dishoom and sign in.
2. From the **Game Mode** menu, tap **Delete Account**.
3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
When you confirm, the App will:
- Delete your record (name, email, profile photo URL, FCM push token, online status, game data) from Firebase Realtime Database.
- Delete your Firebase Authentication account, which also revokes our access to your Google account.
- Clear all locally stored preferences from your device.
This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
### How to request deletion if you no longer have the app
If you have uninstalled the app but still want your data deleted, email us at the address in Section 9 from the Google account you signed in with. We will verify ownership of the account and delete your data within 30 days of your request.
### Other controls
- **Reset Advertising ID** — open your device's *Settings → Privacy → Ads* (the menu name varies by Android version) to reset your Advertising ID at any time.
- **Opt out of personalized ads** — in the same Ads settings, enable *Opt out of Ads Personalization*.
- **Disable analytics on your device** — uninstall the App to stop all data collection.

## 6. Security
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information transmitted to and stored by us:
- All traffic between the App and our backend services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS / TLS.
- Personal data stored in Firebase Realtime Database is protected by Firebase Security Rules and accessed only over Google's secured infrastructure.
- Only authorized members of the development team can access user data, and only when necessary for support, debugging, or legal compliance.
No system can be 100% secure. By using the App you acknowledge this risk.

## 7. Children's privacy
Dice Dishoom is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction — for example 16 in much of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from such children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address in Section 9 and we will delete it.
We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR's provisions on children's data.

## 8. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data (you can do this yourself in-app — see Section 5);
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
